Tumblr Thursdays

I can't believe it is Thursday already! I'm excited for the weekend mainly because of one (well, two) things: My planned Double-Feature date! Midnight in Paris and Super 8 both come out this weekend and I'm excited for both. The last time I checked, the weather is supposed to be pretty nice so I'm hoping to squeeze in some bike rides as well.

ZTox posted this awesome black and white image from Sexties on DeviantArt. There is something ghostly and beautiful about it. Check out the rest of my picks after the jump.

Photographer Johanna Torell posted this image to his Tumblr this week. How lovely, right? Something about it reminds me of lazy Sundays in the spring.

I am a sucker for everything It's Always Sunny, and naturally, Charlie is my favorite character. I laughed out loud when this animated GIF popped up on my dash. Charlie's classic "freak outs" are undoubtedly my favorite moments in each episode. Posted by rightkindawrong.

I've always loved porcelain skin with bright red hair. I find the contrast in this image quite lovely and many of us can totally understand how it feels to be torn between feelings at times. One of the downsides of Tumblr (and image bookmarking sites) is that I come across many images that I like and are not credited. Do you know the model/photographer for this image? If so, please leave it in the comments! Posted on Tumblr by red-charlye.

I am forever a fan of the movie Wet Hot American Summer. There's nothing like summer camp and I spent many summers at them as a kid. Given that the movie is approaching its tenth year anniversary, Gallery 1988 in Los Angeles is holding a perfectly-named art show in the films honor — "Camp Firewood." This piece is by Aaron Jasinski.

Are you on Tumblr? Leave your name in the comments, as I love checking out other blogs and seeing all of your beautiful images!
