Happy fourth, everyone! I hope you have a safe holiday. If you still have fireworks in your future, take lots of photos and be careful! I know, I know, I sound like a mom, but those things kind of scare me!
I snapped this Instagram (Catstagram?) yesterday on our quest to find Kitty a new scratching post. The pet store had a hilarious sign with this cat half-squinting and saying "I WANT YOU (to buy me things)." I expect that my cat is thinking the same thing. I can't help but chuckle when cats are dressed in silly costumes.
We are going to head down to the Doo Dah Parade today. It seems a little rainy, but we will make it work. Afterwards we're going to the thrift stores and hoping that they are having special Independence Day sales. They usually do! I can't wait to search through all of those racks...
