Here's a word I don't use very often: CUTE. That's how I feel about this dress. It started out as a boxy thrifted dress and I whipped it up into this curve-hugging summer dress. I'm so in love. I've been hoarding some cute ankle socks lately (I can't help it, when they're on sale for $2, I just want them in my wardrobe!) and I'm happy to finally be able to use them.
According to a map of the United States, unless you're living right along the west coast, you're boiling hot. I feel your pain! Today on my drive home from work, I couldn't even touch my car keys. They were burning! Youch. We're sitting on the verge of a storm front now. As much as I don't like being forced indoors by intense heat, I love falling asleep to thunder at night! Always looking on the bright side :)
