Today we spontaneous took a little trip to the zoo! The parking lot was PACKED (hey, it is Saturday), but it seemed like most of those people were headed to the adjoining water park. We saw lots of sleepy animals and the weather was overcast enough to help us stay comfortable all day.

Like I said, many of the animals were sleeping. I was a little bummed that the polar bears weren't as active as they had been when I visited earlier this summer. Regardless, the leopard was roaming his/her cage (the first time that's happened while I've been there!) and the orangutans were up and moving!
Those little pebbles? Oh, well, the boyfriend bought me a lovely bowl of Dippin' Dots. Yum! Have I mentioned that tomorrow is Geoff's birthday? We still haven't planned tomorrow past breakfast, but I'm sure we'll be getting into something fun. We both also have Monday off of work, so we get to "relax" for an extra day (which honestly might turn into thrifting...).

What have you gotten yourself into this weekend?
