Ahh, it's the weekend! Can you tell that I'm feeling fluttery about it?
I'm not entirely sure what our plans are. Sunday is our anniversary (how cute, right?) and we haven't scheduled out the day entirely just yet. Tomorrow is Gallery Hop — and I'm really hoping it doesn't rain! I just want the weather to be nice this weekend. Please?
Also on my agenda is to check out the new Planet of the Apes movie. I've been a huge fan of the original films (did you know that there are five of them? I have 'em all! Oh, and the screenplay was written by none other than Mr. Rod Serling?!). When I first saw the previews, my brother and I both became skeptical. I don't want them toying too much with the storyline, you know? Anyway, one of my coworkers saw the film last night and he recommended it, so I may just check it out after all. More on that later!
The only certainty that I have about this weekend is that a couple of our friends are coming into town from Chicago in a few hours! We're probably going to head down to the Short North and catch up since we haven't seen them since January. I'm pretty excited about that. But for now, we're relaxing and hanging out with the cat.
I'm rather in love with today's dreamy outfit. I picked up the skirt at the thrift store on Wednesday and removed the heavy lining so that it could be light and flowy. Light enough to defy gravity? Maybe, just maybe.
