Buffalo Summer

This vintage leather halter top will be hitting my Etsy shop very, very soon! While I like it, she's a little too large for me and I'd much rather pass it on!

Anyway, a couple of things about today. First of all, I tried carrot juice for the first time. And I'm not talking about some kind of wimpy carrot-mixed-with-something... but legit 100% carrot juice. I am pretty sure I just found my new favorite juice! If you haven't had any, I recommend checking it out. I bought Bolthouse brand.

Okay, and secondly I want to thank Velvet Tangerine for mentioning my California necklace in today's Retail Therapy post! She has the cutest blog and you should definitely check it out if you haven't already.

And lastly, of course I am so very excited that Lime Crime has announced their fall line of lipsticks — Lip Noir! As a lover of my own D'Lilac and Coquette, I am really going crazy wanting to try these out!

The limited edition collection includes three colors — Chinchilla (grey with lavender undertones), Glamour 101 (blood red), and Styletto (opaque glossy black). I'm so stoked about this collection since I have recently felt a personal resurgence in 20s admiration. The collection will be available on September 1st and are all 100% vegan/cruelty-free. If you want to read more about the new colors, check out Doe Deere Blogazine!

And back to my outfit — I picked up these vintage white wedges yesterday during my thrifting trip with mom. I love that the heel is real wood and they make a wonderful click-click-click as I walk! At $2.50, I'd say they were a good alternative for my desire to buy new white wedges.

This halter is real leather and is lined with a silky manmade material (most likely polyester). It has two ties across the back and one around the neck. The leather is also patch worked, so if you look closely you can see the separate pieces that are sewn together. I love the large scallop cut around the bottom!

I bought this blazer at the Lincoln Park Urban Outfitters way back in winter of 2009. At some point a few months ago, I dyed it purple and then re-bleached it, giving it a light lavender stonewash! It was originally $80 and I picked it up for $10 or $15. My friends used to comment that it's a very Hall&Oates-esque blazer. Ha-ha! The shorts were thrifted pants that I of course couldn't help but chop off.

Also, I'm not sure if I mentioned it yesterday, but I hit over 100 followers on LookBook and 300 followers on Instagram and just want to say thank you!
