I guess in the end, I didn't really throw out material items — just mail, old paperwork, and some other items that were totally useless. I also finally got the chance to hang up many wall-art items that had been sitting around the apartment.

I also made the time to alter this dress I have been drying to get my hands on. It started out very prairie-like, so I shortened the hem and gave it love sides. I love everything that lets a cute bandeau or cami peek. I think it's a nice contrast with this romantic fabric. Best part is — it's for sale in my Etsy shop! Don't forget that I'm offering free shipping on all orders with the code AUTUMNSALE. It ends tomorrow night — so don't miss out!

I am really starting to get more into updos. My current hair color makes it so fun to split, braid, and mix the two tones. Today, I braided it up the blonde side and pulled it up in sections to create a small poof. It makes a nice sweep. I also brought out my new Covergirl lipstick again for a pink pout!
Geoff leaves tomorrow for the store opening at Penn State. He'll be gone for an entire week! I have a few ideas on how I'm going to have my outfit photos taken, but if there are a few boring backdrops (i.e.: our apartment), I apologize in advance! I'm counting down to my weekend Chicago trip and getting mega-excited! What are you amped for right now?
