I have felt as if I've had a million things to do today. And to top it all off, tonight we're heading just north of the campus area to our boss's going away party. Unfortunately it's almost 100° (happy September, right?!), so I wanted to just be simple and wear something breathable.
Of course I took it upon myself to get more practice at my layered cupcakes. Mine turn out almost tie-dyed sometimes, but they're still really adorable. This time I used pink, purple, and blues! And Devan's favorite color is pink, so I mixed up some pink frosting to top 'em off with. They're cute and yummy! (yes, I had to try one before taking them to a party... you know what I mean?)
Since we're literally about to walk out the door, I'll give you a quick run down of this outfit. I bought this shirt yesterday and even though I know it's supposed to be interpreted as garden-y, it reminds me of the galaxy trend going on right now. It's a pretty wonderful mix and a nice sheer chiffon, so I couldn't say no to paying $2 for it. These are my go-to shorts and black flats. Not terribly creative today, but I have a tendency to live in outfits like this.
Also, I'm really excited because I ordered the new Lime Crime Lip Noir lipstick in Glamour 101 that just came out today. I really love the Chinchilla, too, but figured the deep red may be more practical for me at the moment. I can't wait to share the review once I get it it. Pumped!
