Another cool day today! I'm totally loving the fact that this entire outfit (with the exception of the tights and shoes) is from the thrift store. I got most of it yesterday when I was out with my mom! Bonus!

I wasn't sure if I was going to keep this bag for myself or not. After carrying it today, I've decided to definitely keep it! It's some sort of magic trick, I swear. Yeah, it looks big, but the space inside is insane! I was able to fit all of my packages in here for my post office trip today (six total), my camera, my emergency kit (I carry around a small makeup bag with feminine products, wet wipes, bandages, hair ties and clips, and lip balm... because I'm a nerd), and wallet. Wow-wee!

This crop top started out as a Betsey Johnson dress. The cut was quite terrible, but I liked the print, so I cut it into a crop and saved the rest for future projects. The shorts were a lucky find, too! They're 90s Calvin Klein jeans that fit me like a glove. I cut them into shorts, rolled them, and fell in love. And they were under $2! Great, great, great. My mom bought me the "cardigan." It's actually a kid's shirt dress — has a waist tie and everything. It's really cute and comfy and has studs on the shoulders and belt loops. I figured it would be a nice basic for fall!
In other news, Kitty's first birthday is on Thursday. And yes, I'm a cat lady, and yes, I'm celebrating. My question is, though — have you ever celebrated a pet's birthday? I've made doggie birthday cakes before, but there don't seem to be many recipes online for cat birthday treats. I'll keep searching — or if you have any suggestions, let me know!
This Lime Crime lipstick is really wearing well. I've had it on for a few hours and the color is going strong!
