If you're unaware (no worries!), yesterday was my 25th birthday. I dig birthdays. A lot. This year was particularly great because Geoffrey drove the 6 hours from Columbus to stay with me for the weekend. It's been a month since we've seen each other, so it was definitely overdue!

I was obviously so excited at his arrival that I neglected to clean my mirror before snapping a photo. Can you blame me, though?

With him he brought me some wonderful goodies and gifts, including a case of Yuengling (if you know what this is an how it's limited in certain states, then you understand!), a bouquet of beautiful red tulips (my favorite flower), and birthday presents from him and the wonderful Ms. Latisha! Tish gifted me a really awesome little box of goodies — a beautiful lip color, lip balm, a nail polish from the OPI Muppet collection (swoon), a Polaroid of her beautiful pup Buttercup, and some seasonally-delicious cherry cordial kisses. I'll be posting more about the cosmetics in an upcoming review post. Would you like to know what Geoff got me....?

Say hello to my new, long, lovely hair. He got me some pretty clip in extensions that I've been eyeballing for quite some time. Aren't they lovely? They're 100% human hair, which means I can curl and wave 'em! I'll also be posting a review on these next week. Thank you, Geoff!
As far as my actual birthday goes, we had a full day....

For starters, I (wahhh!) had to go to the DMV to get my license transferred/renewed. Talk about the one place that you DON'T want to be on your birthday! With that being said, the building was really awesome, open, and bright.

And efficiently, in less than an hour, I became an official resident.

From there, we waltzed into the Christkindlmarket.

Afterwards we went shopping all along Michigan Avenue and got lots of goodies! I knew I had to take Geoff to see the big Anthropologie up here and AllSaints!
Today we are doing a little more shopping and we're going to get some yummy food. Heck, we might even make me a birthday cake one day late! Expect more lovely pictures and updates over the next few days...
