But I did manage to pick up this adorable Urban Renewal dress the other day and it's a strange shade somewhere between grey and purple. Plus it's light enough to get me through the day better than most garments. The news keeps saying that the heat is going to break — let's keep our fingers crossed!
After my shift ended, Lauren and I went down to Wicker Park for some Wormhole and general let's-get-out-of-the-apartment-ness. A couple of hours into it, we were ready to come back and sit in front of the air conditioning unit.
My favorite part of this dress has to be the criss-crosse back. Cute, right? I think this could also be an awesome DIY to liven up some stale pieces in my closet. Future project, maybe?
It looks like I'm heading to a beach in Indiana tomorrow with Gedi. I'm pretty excited to get out of the city again and hit up the dunes! Hope you all have a great weekend.
