The incredible view from breakfast at the top patio of PUBLIC Hotel |

There are so many wonderful things to say about Christina. Within minutes of meeting her it became apparent that she's an extremely driven, positive, and inspirational woman. She shared with us her ideas and upcoming products with Jouer and gave us all some insight on the journey that she has taken so far. As a blogger (even though I don't consider myself a "beauty blogger"), it is so relieving to meet someone — anyone! — who is genuinely thankful for what input I have, no matter how big or little!
Jouer came to Chicago to help promote their launch at Nordstroms stores! I highly recommend that you stop in if you have the opportunity and see these beautifully designed products.
The one product that we were all swooning over was a Jouer Pochette (retails for $75) in hot pink that will be making it's debut later this year. There is currently a chocolate brown version which is just as lovely.

And I am so happy that I got to walk away with this little (big!) treat. The thing I love and admire so much about the actual products are their versatility. They palettes snap and slide together to create custom collections — not to mention it prevents me from needing to carry around a bunch of stuff I don't need.
I ended up with the "warm" palette, which consists of the new Moisturizing Lip Gloss in Malibu, Sheer Matte Touch Powder and Bronzer Duo, Essential Matte Touch, Tint in petal, Highlighter in tiare, and two powder eye shadows — parfait and truffle. Since I got this palette on Thursday, I haven't been using much else for my cheeks and eyes. It just so happens that I broke my Rimmel matte finish powder the same day, and I found that the Jouer Matte Touch powder is a great alternative. The shadows are subtle enough for my taste and can be layered for a smokey eye. I normally don't wear blush/bronzer, but the cheek tint is a soft formula that blends nicely along side the highlighter product.
Also in the bag was a larger version of my previously reviewed Lip Enhancer. I'm pretty excited to have this back in my arsenal again considering I used up all of my sample size from Birchbox!
Probably one of the most impressive cosmetic products of the day was the Luminizing Moisture Tint. I picked it up in pearl thanks to the make up artist's suggestion and I really couldn't be happier with it. It's a tinted moisturizer that has the slightest shimmer. It looks so amazing and makes my skin literally glow. I'm going to be picking up the full size of this soon!
Lastly was the Moisturizing Lip Gloss in Peony. The Peony formula is much more opaque than the Malibu. It works well with my skin tone and is perfectly girly/subtle to wear every day. You can see me wearing it here!
I'm so happy that I got the opportunity to try all of these great products and preview some upcoming additions for fall. Like I said, if you get the chance, stop into a Nordstrom and try some for yourself!
