Sunday Funday! Finally, after all of this waiting, Lauren moved to Chicago today! She left the desert to come join us in the midwest and to be my new roommate! We're so excited!

This morning Nate and I headed out to O'Hare to meet up with her and help carry her luggage. Lauren managed to ditch everything except three suitcases worth of belongings (wow!), so the transition was pretty easy for us.


So we are stoked to be back together again! I'm sure there will be plenty of good times ahead (and adventures...). For today, though, we went down to Wicker Park for some always-wonderful Wormhole and Native Foods. We both have a good amount of time off of work this week, so we're going to do some obligatory exploring.


Oh and we passed this adorable strawberry lemonade stand on our way back from the airport. The lovely mom and daughter running this were donating the money to the Chicago Canine Rescue. I'm not sure how often they are going to be out doing this, but if see 'em at Sacramento and Logan Blvd, be sure to stop and get some. It's delicious!


Lately I've been borderline obsessed with neon yellow. I'm not sure what it is, but I love pairing this color with navy or grey. As soon as I saw this bag at work, I had to pick it up. Great and summery, wouldn't you say?


So tonight Lauren and I are going to have a proper welcome for her by going out in Logan. It should be a good time. As for the rest of the week, we're still unsure. With July 4 coming up quickly, we are trying to solidify some plans for firework viewing. We'll see what happens!
