Lauren and I both had the day off, and even though it was smoldering outside managed to go out and enjoy the sun a bit. And, as it turns out, Lauren is just lovely at snapping photos! Thanks, girl!

So today we moseyed around Wicker Park for a bit — nabbed a bite to eat and some coffee at Wormhole (yes, again) and headed home. It was humid enough to make us both mildly grumpy, so we retreated to the wondrous cave of Netflix and air conditioning.

A few weeks ago I picked up this Ollom Lilac Bag from Aldo for pretty cheap. I love the color (and space), but one of my Instagram friends pointed out its face and now I can never un-see it. It gives me a good laugh now. The bag of discontent, right? °___°

Lipcolor: a mix of Lime Crime D'Lilac and Ka'Oir Rude Girl

This dress was gifted to me by my sponsor SheInside. I love the color and shape (in fact, Lou helped me pick it out) but I need it to be about an inch shorter in the back. I'm only 5'1" and if I don't wear my biggest shoes, it drags. Otherwise, it's so bright and fun that I just can't go without it now.

Tomorrow means it's time to go back to work! What are my American followers getting into for the Fourth of July?
