It's finally that time!
Back in June I found out that I won a trip to visit Urban Outfitters's home office in Philadelphia. Ever since, I have been anxiously awaiting my working vacation to the City of Brotherly Love. Fun fact: I've never been to Philly. I mean, there's a chance that my parents took me there when I was little (we went on a lot of family vacations), but I certainly don't remember it.
I'm going to be out of Chicago for three days this week. I'm beyond excited to meet some new faces and see and try new things while I'm away.
With all of my excitement, I do get a little obsessed with packing, especially when it comes to flying. I always worry that I have too much or too little or that I'll forget something. To ease this worry, I always try to pack a little early. I started the other night since I don't have a day off of work before my flight leaves and am feeling in a pretty good spot with it!

I'm definitely not a light packer. I'll be there for three days and found it appropriate to pack 5 outfits with potential for a little mixing and matching. I'm going to be doing a lot of work while I'm. but am still planning on going out a little and meeting up with some resident friends.
Tops: Denim button down, Fred Perry polo, Velour striped crop tank, thrifted sheer white blouse, cropped rose tank, sheer white tank, denim jacket
Bottoms: Cut off high rise shorts, Wood Wood high rise brown denim, TrippNYC Leopard print denim, polka dot tap shorts
Shoes: Timberland Rodelo (they still have the sticker on them because I haven't even worn them yet!), Jeffrey Campbell Litas, brown boots, yellow flats, nude flats
Accessories: Knit black beanie, Warby Parker Jaspers, RayBan Wayfarer IIs, yellow belt, black belt, various jewelry, striped and leopard mix and match swimsuit (because you never know when I might want to use that hotel pool!)
I always try to plan out outfits to minimize prep time at the hotel in the morning and changing time in between day and night outings. I find that it makes everything a bit easier.
What do I have planned in Philly? Well, like I said — I'll be at UO Home Office for most of my time there! But I do plan on checking out Morgan's Pier, Blackbird Pizza (vegan), and probably a little nightlife. I wish I had time for the Mütter Museum or that Pizza Brain would be open! No luck though.
...Maybe next time!
I can't wait to update everyone with daily outfits, my findings in Philly, and all of the good times my friends and I will be having during our visit.
