Renegade Grunge

It's Saturday! And it's Renegade weekend!

Lauren and I took the train down to Wicker Park today to see what was going on at the Renegade Craft Fair. There were so many booths and so many people — it was almost too much to handle. There were lots of great pieces that I wanted, but I'm trying to save for some *potential* good news that *might* come soon (look at me being all secretive).

My favorite piece was easily this Arrested Development print by John Vogl. I'm definitely going to order one when I move into my new place!

My second favorite booth was The Plaid Pigeon. They had the greatest dinosaur planters with succulents and cacti. Another killer home piece for my new place!

The weather was perfect for layers and patio-sittin' at Caffé Streets. Lauren broke out an amazing cat sweater that she got last week while we were thrifting.

We also managed to hop in the Magnolia Photobooth before the line got too terribly long and used some of their props to make it an Arrested Development-themed strip. I'm going to go ahead and point out that this is the best photo strip of us to date!

I've been so busy with work and some extra-ciricular projects for Urban that I have barely posted. Things might be speeding up for me in the next tree weeks, so posting might be a little sparse. Either way, I'm excited for changes in the leaves and in my life. My love life has been nothing but rocky over the past two weeks and I'm ready for a breather and to spend time with good friends.
