If you're keeping tabs on my Instagram, you probably are aware that earlier this week, I took another trip to the Urban Outfitters home office in Philadelphia. This time I headed out solo for some meetings on the campus. It was a quick two-day trip, but I had a blast (as always)!

I flew out of Chicago mid-day on Tuesday and got a killer view of the city. I don't care how much time I spend in this city, the skyline always takes my breath away! On the way home, I had a night flight and had the most amazing view of the sunset and skyline at night. I wish I could have snapped a photo, but there was a guy (with his shoes off, ew) sitting in the window seat crowding my space! Eek!

I had the evening to do as I pleased, so I went out to dinner with my good friend Lou at Royal Tavern. Best. Vegetarian. Sandwich. Ever. After that, we hit up a little gelato joint where I *inhaled* my pumpkin and dark chocolate. He got sweet potato and cinnamon, both of which were delicious.

After food, I finally got to meet Scuz, Lou's slightly-grumpy all black cat of doom. No, but really, Scuz and I kind of buddied up.

The next morning I had multiple meetings (interviews!) at the Urban Outfitters home office, so I got dressed in my new vintage polka dot top and black high rise denim. I picked up these great basic black heels at work — I swear I've worn these SO much over the past week! I kept my makeup simple and girly.

I picked up this camo jacket at Belmont Army the other day and have been pairing it with everything. I've gotten so much pattern mixing inspiration from all around the internet involving camo and I'm so excited to finally have it in my wardrobe!
I will say that all of my Philly experiences have been weird — including this cab ride where my driver was listening to LMFAO while I was drinking a tiny hotel coffee.

I made it down to the Naval Yard and checked into my interview room. My day was filled with familiar faces and new ones, a great lunch, perfectly inspiring conversations, and lots of hope for the future. My meetings ended around 4pm and then I rushed to the airport to catch a 6pm flight back to Chicago.
Life is a whirlwind right now, but I'm loving every second of it.
