It's autumn and it has come pretty apparent that there are two huge trends happening right now: ankle boots and oxblood anything. Luckily, I'm a fan of both. I was contacted by Timberland this summer about their Earthkeeper line of shoes, and while I normally wouldn't pay much attention to this label, the Rudston ankle boot caught my eye.
I found the Earthkeeper line to be really interesting once I looked into it. They focus on using green materials — not only recycled elements, but organic cotton when used. I do have to say that the Rudstons are comfortable and soft and with the cold weather upon us, will easily enter as one my fall wardrobe staples.

This boot is no longer available on Timberland's website, but is available on Amazon. There is also a huge line of Earthkeepers products currently on their website — men's and women's alike.
We all know that shoes take a beating and it's hard to donate them after we've used 'em to trudge through our environmental elements. So what do you do with your worn out and unuseable Earthkeepers? Give them back to Timberland for green recycling.
