I feel like I wrote the October review post just yesterday. I've been in Philly for a month and I can't say that it has welcomed me with open arms. Hell, it's pretty tough actually. But I'm here and I'm working, so here goes nothin'...
Things I Discovered
- It was a month of firsts. I voted for the first time (long story), I went to New York for the first time, went to Jersey for the first time, had my first Thanksgiving away from my family (and my first vegetarian Thanksgiving!), ate at my first thai restaurant, experienced my first URBN Sample Sale, and drove a car for the first time in over a year.
- Wait, wait, wait. How have I not fully appreciated Sephora before? I might be addicted, oh dear.
- I've worked retail for years. Tackling Black Friday from behind a social network was far different than from behind a cash register. I learned a lot.
- Not all cats are nice cats.

Exciting Happenings in my Life
- I'm heading to New York again twice next week, put some holiday travel to (fingers crossed) San Diego and Chicago. I'm so homesick!
- I just celebrated my twenty-sixth birthday. Old lady style!
- I'm slowly, slowly, slowly getting into the process of apartment hunting. It's a world of difference here in Philly. Who knew?
