I love crop tops. It probably goes somewhat hand-in-hand with my love for high-waited bottom, but hey. It could also have something to do with the fact that my tween/teen years were spent in the 90s/early 2000s. Either way, I'm super stoked on the crop top trend.
Naturally, runways had a lot of crop tops going on for summer. The great thing about many of these styles are that: 1. they're easy to replicate, 2. simple crop tops are easy to DIY or up cycle. I love thrifting tees and cropping them to the perfect length.
Both of these tops were cropped from thrifted tee. Blast from the past — the left image is from a July 2011 post (and oddly, one I see circulating on Tumblr a lot — uncredited and with my head chopped off). The right, of course, is much more recent.
