Venus

Alright, Minis, a couple of things...

This damn sweatshirt. Just look at it. Botticelli's Birth of Venus has always been one of my favorite pieces on Renaissance art. This style was a bit out of my comfort zone. When I tried it on for the first time, though, I was in love. It's actually insane looking and really detailed in person.

Also, these shoes. I got these at the NastyGal Warehouse Sale and they're so fun and bizarre. Surprisingly, they're really comfortable as well. The only downfall is that they're not a great wet-weather shoe. Whoops.

And lastly, this view. We shot these photos from the Hotel Palomar's terrace on Halloween morning (uhf). Even though it was misty, foggily, and a little wet, I'm so happy with how these shots turned out. Something about all the concrete contrasted against the bright sweatshirt and green tile floor just works so well.
