27 Years

Today is my 27th birthday (yes, that's a tiny me in that photo). I'm so grateful and amazed and stoked on everything in my life and wanted to share some photos from birthdays of the past. Enjoy them after the jump.

My dad always had a tradition of giving me roses on my birthday — one for each year. According to the roses, these are from my second and third birthdays.

And in 1992 I loved coloring books and looms.

By 1993, I was allowed to have a birthday party with my friends from school. For whatever reason, I dressed up like a frilly cupcake. In other words, #fashion.

Oh, 1995. The beginning of my awkward acne years. I guess this is why I barely have any photos of myself over the next ten years...

When I turned 18 in 2004, my boyfriend-at-the-time's mom made me a Napoleon Dynamite cake. Things were gettin' pretty serious.

In 2008 I celebrated at the zoo with my buddy Dave and some foxes.

I moved to Chicago in 2011 shortly before my 25th birthday. Geoff drove up to stay with me and we walked around shopping for most of the day.

And last year, Lou and I hung out at the Franklin Institute in Philly and touched a cherub's butt on the Titanic's Grand Staircase. Sounds about right!

Thanks to everyone who sent me well wishes this year. I love you guys!
