ELF Haul + Giveaway

It's been a while since I placed an order from ELF Cosmetics, and this time I sorta went all out. They make one of my favorite (and affordable) eyelid primers and had some new cosmetics I wanted to try.




Here's what I picked up:
● Studio HD Blush in Encore — This color is way brighter than it looked on the website (at least on my monitor). It's super potent — the pigment is bright and it covers A LOT with just a tiny bit!
● Studio Matte Eyeshadow in Chestnut — This is my new favorite eyeshadow! I'm always on the hunt for a matte brown to replace an old eyeshadow I had and used up. I think this one is it!
● Studio Under Eye Concealer & Highlighter in glow — I didn't buy this stuff for under my eyes. Instead, I'm using it to highlight just under my brow. The highlighter has a tiny bit of sparkle, which is nice, but the concealer doesn't have much pigment to it (probably a good thing).
● Lip Definer and Shaper — This is just a shade darker than my natural lip color and is great everyday wear! I use the shaper on my lips with a tad bit of balm and I'm good to go!
● Studio Small Angled Brush — I got this to replace one of the others that I had. Definitely a good buy!
● Essential Eye Crease Brush — This had some loose bristles when I got it, so I had to trim it up a bit before using it. Other than that, it's perfect for my eyelid crease and I love using it with the matte eyeshadow!
● Essential Waterproof Eyeliner Pen in Green and Teal — I love using the hunter green. It's not as harsh as the black that I normally use and isn't as difficult to get off. It's more sheer than I would prefer, but looks good over the white primer. The teal, on the other hand, is bright and I love it!
● Essential Eyelid Primer in Sheer and Pearl — The sheer primer is the same one I've been using for years. The pearl is a nice change if I'm trying to wear a more pigmented liner or shadow, though!


Also, brushes. A lot of 'em.
