I've been battling a pretty gross cold since Xmas day, but on Friday I had to head out into the world for some grocery shopping. I somehow managed to look like I wasn't a sniffly, snotty mess — Let's chalk that up as a win.
The silliest part about going to Trader Joe's when you're on cold medicine is that sometimes you leave with spinach tortillas and ice cream — that's normal, right? Side note: remember that Lulu Blossom cream I reviewed last week? UM, it works amazing for keeping your nose from getting chapped from tissue-blowin'. Serious lifesaver.

I got these boots back at the Nasty Gal warehouse sale in October (or September? I can't remember) for $20. They're so stinkin' comfortable that I've considered buying this other awesome color way as well. But alas, I literally just ordered these from them a couple days ago that should be here tomorrow — I have a problem.
So these deep red velvet leggings — I love them, but they're about a size too big for me. I'm going to make them a part of the January Shop My Closet sale (which I have penciled in to happen on 1/14).

Anyway, yeah. Sick day, schmick day. I'm just going to barricade myself up with some OJ, a humidifier, DyQuil and some cute PJs to get prepped for the big New Year's Eve festivities. How are you planning on celebrating?
