A couple of things: First of all, I went radiant orchid with the hair. It's a tad bit pinker than I wanted, but I'm adjusting to it. I've actually been contemplating getting a men's haircut (uh huh), so we'll see if I actually follow through on that. Secondly, just a heads up that the Art Institute of Chicago is free for Illinois residents every weekday from now until the middle of February! Brock had never been, so yesterday we decided to head downtown — it's a really fantastic museum that holds one of my favorite paintings of all time: Edward Hopper's Nighthawks.

I recently ordered these boots from Forever 21. I was hoping that because they are so wide at the top that they wouldn't rub really badly on my legs — I'm pretty bowlegged, so ankle boots can be sort of tough for me sometimes. These do rub a little bit, but they're not as bad as some of my other boots. They're really rad looking — especially after I DIYed a little boot chain for my left foot!
