Three years ago I wrote that Vans was my favorite brand. I still love my Lo Pros for kickin' around or taking a quick bike ride. However, in the past three years (actually, more so in the past year or two), I've accumulated quite a few pieces from my favorite label: Fred Perry.
I've always been pretty attracted to this brand — the clean lines, the history, the collaborations — and part of it probably has to do with listening to punk in my youth and going to hardcore shows and all of that. My interested really escalated when they began creating the Amy Winehouse line in 2010.
Over time, I started by picking up accessories and bags and shoes. Eventually, I was filling my closet with some polos and sweaters. Living on the East Coast, only a few hours from Brooklyn's Fred Perry Surplus, really spoiled me.
