As a part of Mini Penny's blog birthday, I'm taking a look back at one of my first series — The 30 Day Fashion Challenge. Check back every day for a look at how big of a difference three years can make!
Today I was walking downtown (rather quickly since it was misty and a little brisk) and a cop pulled over his cruiser next to me and said, "you do know your hair is purple, right?"
Thank you. I almost forgot. *smile and wave*

But otherwise (haha), I was downtown today for a little meet up with Danielle Nicole at Cusp by Neiman Marcus. I got a great little grey Peyton bag from her that I'll be outfitting sometime soon. Afterwards I met up with Brock for some food before he takes his two week Europe trip. I originally was going to head to Columbus today, but some other things came up that I need to take care of here in Chicago before another #treatyoself trip happens.
I've been really craving a nice, long motorcycle ride.

I think it's safe to say that my all-time favorite fashion era was 70s/80s punk, new wave, and goth scene. I grew up listening to punk rock and idolizing their fashion — albeit how bad it was at times. I'm always a sucker for leather or a few studs and patches, or a Morrissey quiff. Even though I'm out of the modern punk scene, I still like to draw a bit of inspiration from old photos of The Ramones or Debbie Harry.
