I bought this ruana years ago and, since then, have left it folded on a chair in my apartment. It wasn't until this week that I decided to actually wear it. See more photos and details after the jump.

Aren't these earrings great? They were a gift from a local brand True Partners in Craft — they're made from old bicycle tubes! I've seen a lot of variations of bike tire recycled jewelry, but these are easily my favorites!

I also finally picked up a pair of Freebirds by Steve Madden. These aren't the Quartz I had been looking at before, they're the Prison. They're really comfortable and once I see how these wear over time, I may splurge on another pair!
After months of debating, I ended up picking up a pair of the American Eagle denim. I wouldn't say that I'm very impressed with them — they are great comfy jeans, but lose their shape quickly. I probably won't be picking up another pair. With that being said, I was impressed by the way AEO has changed their products since they last time I was in their store. They have some great sweaters now!
