Over the past year, the marble pattern has exploded over clothing, accessories, and housewares. And finally, I've got some of it on my nails.
I bought these NCLA Marble nail wraps a few weeks ago when perusing their website. I have had no experience using the NCLA wraps, but I gave them a shot even though they seemed a bit pricey compared to others that I purchase on the regular.
The application process is easy enough. Just like the Sally Hansen nail wraps and the Scratch wraps, the decals stretch to fit the nail. However, I find that the NCLA wraps bubble a little more than others I have tried.
The big mistake I made was a clear coat. I used Seche Vite over top of the wraps and it caused them to bubble up worse! Oh no! It reminded me of the Marchesa wraps that bubbled up so bad. Have you encountered this with any wraps? Is there a way to avoid it?
The wraps only lasted about two days. They began to peel up a bit at the edges and made it too difficult for me to work, so I removed them. I'm hoping to find (or make) a similar nail design soon! I have two more sets of NCLA wraps that I ordered at the same time and I'm curious to find if they react the same way to a topcoat.
