I get so excited to get my Scratch Mini Mani Box every month! For the September box, there were some great selections — but I immediately went for the florals. I normally squeeze three manis out of these sets, but I was so excited to fill my fingertips with petals, that I ended up with two sets instead. See both of them after the jump!

Here's what came in my Scratch box:
❖ Petal Scratch Nail Decals
❖ Aila Nail Polish in Room 212
❖ .... A wedged sponge?
Petal Scratch Nail Decals
Another great set! These have a floral pattern on a clear background. They're perfect for layering over your favorite polish. I found that these looked best over lighter colors — the leaves and petal details definitely got lost with darker tones. Also, some of my strips seemed brittle. I'm not sure if maybe my package was just defective or exposed to air, but I was still able to make them work.

I love this color! The brush is great, too. It took about three coats to get an even color, but it dried quickly. I love it! I could totally see myself wearing this by itself.
A Wedged Sponge
Guys, what the f**k do I need a sponge for?

The two sets I made each had a different vibe. The darker ones called for one flower (or leaf set!) on each nail. On the lighter nails, I collaged the remaining decals together to get a floral statement nail.
