I mentioned on my Instagram last week that I have shit-talked knee-high and over-the-knew boots for so long. I don't know what it was (or is?) about them that I have despised for so long. But slowly, I began to come around. I have this coworker who wears these killer lace-up Jeffrey Campbells and I kept seeing them styled in different ways on other bloggers — then I found these.
I find that these are a new way to wear my "summer" clothes throughout the winter — since the boots hit me so high on the thigh, they're warm enough to pair with a long coat for a twist on my regular wardrobe.
It has been unseasonably warm in our neck of the woods. How about where you are? After have a couple brutal winters, I'm enjoying this weather as long as possible!
Total side note... who's going to go see Star Wars tonight? I have tickets for 8pm ... I can't wait!
