My trip to California three weeks ago was the perfect way to recharge after a rocky start to 2016. I made my way around LA, San Diego, Palm Springs, and Joshua Tree with a good friend of mine that I knew from Philly. All of the sunshine and burritos made it hard to come back to Chicago, but looking forward to more west coast visits in the future.
I love all of the colorful murals and sunshine in LA. Roxy and I were exploring Little Tokyo (um, which might be my new favorite area of the city. I have so many skincare goodies to share with y'all later on!) and I noticed blue, purple and pink beacon of color. The wall and the sidewalk were drenched in color, so it seemed fitting for this little black dress.
I originally purchased this dress through Depop for my birthday this past year — when my boyfriend-at-the-time didn't end up doing anything with me on my birthday (uhh wat... queue princess emoji), I wore it to work and was totally overdressed. Oh well. Seeing these photos make me really anxious to get my back finished. I have another session soon and I'm equally looking forward to it and dreading it. Hah!
