These pants are killing me. They're so flattering and the cutout on the back is sexy as hell. The rise and crop is reminiscent of some of my favorite Peg-Bundy-esque styles, but with just a little more sass.

Between traveling so much and working extra hours at the tattoo shop, writing and shooting for posts has sort of taken a step back. I've been painting all the time when I have a moment to spare — I spend a lot of time thinking about blogging but not a lot of time actually doing it. I have a small mountain of ideas and I think my schedule is going to start evening out enough to where I can get back in and dedicated some time to Mini Penny.
With that being said, I've found great comfort in painting as of late. I have set goals for myself and where I want to go with my career, so I'm harnessing my free time to practice the skills I need to get there. My last LA trip left me feeling so inspired and determined. I'm ready for new directions and new paths.

Plus (!) I booked a flight to Seattle for June 2-6. I've never been to the Pacific Northwest, so any Seattle suggestions are welcome.
