I had the pleasure of attending an event this week in which the dress code was Bright and White! Wearing all white is definitely out of my comfort zone, but I put together this look and had a lot of fun doing it! (Photos: Perry Fish)
I thrifted this formal wear a couple weeks ago with the intention to wear it with some denim. I'm pretty sure it's from a 2-piece gown (you know the ones with beaded tops and a satin skirt). I ended up chopping it off and hemming the edge. The tough part was the beading! I had to remove beads to use the sewing machine and then re-bead the detail by hand! It took me way longer than expected.
I also made it an open back — perfect for summer.
