I opened up this box with so much joy — some of my favorite memories are when my family, friends and I have roadtripped all over the country. This collection is particularly great for creating a variety of looks, and since it's all in one palette, it's great to pack light for a trip and still know that you can do your makeup differently each day. It's one palette, but with endless escapes!
My favorite colors (it's hard to choose!) in the Born To Run Eyeshadow Palette are Punk, Accelerate, and Still Shot. I've been really feeling warm colors and these are SO pretty!

I swatched all of the colors on my hand to test pigmentation. The top three rows are the Urban Decay Born To Run Eyeshadow Palette — 21 colors in a variety of finishes and colors, bottom row left to right are the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils in Lucky, Double Life, and Overdrive, then the Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in Ready?, 66, and Marfa.
Which colors are your favorite?
I stepped outside of my own comfort zone and went with *gasp* green! For this eye look, I started with Still Shot over the entire lid and blended Riff into the crease. I slowly deepened the color with Good As Gone before layering Smog and Wanderlust for a nice olive green shadow. I used Breakaway on my inside corners for a light pop.
Using the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Overdrive, I created my normal wing. I am so used to using liquid liner for my cat eyes, so this creamy pencil was a fun change of color and finish! Lastly, I used the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Lucky just a tad on the outside corner of my waterline.
The Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in 66 is hands down my favorite color for summer! It matches my hair perfectly and is a comfortable matte to wear throughout the day. I wore this look for a full day of going to markets in the hot Chicago summer and can fully appreciate how the colors stayed put! The Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray is one of my holy grail products.
