Accessing Chicago with Car2Go

One of my favorite things about Chicago is that there's so much to see and do. It's a big city and if you want to get around, you have a few options: public transit, ride shares, and driving. Personally, I love to drive. Most of my friends are surprised to hear this considering that I don't own a car. I've tried many of the rental services available, but always wished for one thing — one-way options. When I discovered car2go, I was ecstatic. You've Got Nail 90

I've been feeling a lot of the checkerboard patterns that I've been seeing in clothing lately — I decided to give it a try on my nails! Instead of the traditional black and white, I went for some pinks. Maybe I'm finally getting over my association of checks with ska. Nails made using Floss Gloss Perf and Floss Gloss Maliboob Job.

Museum Days

Nothing like a nice day looking at dinosaur fossils and mummies! I still love visiting all of Chicago's great museums — and the Field Museum is my all-time favorite. What's yours?

Kick Back

It's the weekend! Hope y'all find time to kick back and relax. I'm totally obsessed with these yellow sneaks from Reebok. I've been pairing them with everything lately!

You've Got Nail 89 // July Scratch Box

I skipped over the June Scratch wraps (they just weren't my style, but you can pick them up here if you want them for yourself!), but the July wraps were a delight! Nothing says summer like popsicles and ice cream cones. I was excited to make some pastel sweet manicures with these.

29Rooms

I've been lusting after going to a 29Rooms event for years! When they announced that they were coming to Chicago, I hopped on the chance to get tickets right away. The experience was fun and we got a lot of cute photos in the process! I scored this vintage velvet dress at a yard sale and couldn'tt wait to wear it. The Renaissance Fair

Today I made it out to the Bristol Renaissance Fair! I haven't been to one of these things since, um, college. And I haven't "dressed up" for once since I was in primary school So my friends and I whipped up a few simple last minute themed outfits. I leaned into the whole pirate look. She's Back
