It's finally costume time! I hope you have all had a wonderful Halloween weekend. I was sure to celebrate with a couple of costumes (and more to come!) for parties over the past couple of days. I love making my own Halloween costumes and this year was no different! First up: Poison Ivy. Click through for more details.
I got lucky with thrifting this green swimsuit for $5. I went to the craft store and picked up $15 worth of faux ivy, cut it up, and applied it using a combination of hand stitching, sewing machine, and hot glue. I also thrifted a $2 pair of new green tights and ordered a $15 Amazon wig — so, boom! A whole Poison Ivy costume for under $40. I absolutely loved this one!
