New Makeup Obsession // VT x BTS

If you've been following me on Instagram, you've noticed that I've been taking full advantage of the BTS pop-ups that have been happening around their recent two-day concert weekend in Chicago (more on that later, because oh my goodness it was amazing). This past weekend I went out to the suburbs to pick up more from the VT x BTS line and it never disappoints! Click through for more.

I made an order through the website a little while ago to get some items I really wanted, and then waited until the pop up to get a few of the items I knew I'd need to swatch first!

All of the makeup leaves me looking so soft and dewy and I cannot get enough of it! For the look above I used (nearly) all VT x BTS products!

F A C E
I primed my face with the VT BT21 Fit On Stick in 03 Primer. This gives me a soft base and blurs my pores. I really like the stick application! And BONUS — it has Koya on it! ♥

I used (and love) the VT x BTS Collagen Pack Black #23 on my skin. I had been wavering on whether to get this in the Black pack or White pack. The Black Pack has slightly more coverage! I'm probably going to get myself the White one as well eventually — but I love the soft texture of this.

I also nabbed the VT BT21 Real Wear Satin Cushion #23 and VT x BTS Gloria Powderation. The BT21 Cushion is really great for lighter days and the Powderaton a nice moisturizing liquid foundation. I plan on using it more for my every day wear and saving the collagen pack for my better looks! Yes, I'm coveting it.

For contour, I used the VT BT21 Fit On Stick in 02 Shading. This shading stick is a little warmer than my normal Pixi contour stick, but I like the summer glow! I'm already used to highlighting with a stick product, so this is perfect for me. It's a smooth application and easy to blend. And my favorite BT21 character Chimmy is on it!

I've been trying to get myself more into blush and the VT x BTS Super Tempting Cheek Palette in 01 Just Romantic is an easy entry into that. The soft pinks are easy to blend and build!

For highlight I used my Fenty Beauty by Rhianna Killawhat Freestyle Highlighter in Hu$tla Baby. I used the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.

E Y E S 
For my color, I actually used the darkest shade in my VT x BTS Super Tempting Cheek Palette in 01 Just Romantic. I wanted something soft and subtle. The VT x BTS Triple Film Mascara quickly jumped to the top of my Favorite Mascara list and reminds me a lot of a Trish McEvoy one I used to love! It's a fiber mascara and makes my lashes look longer and blacker without all of the clumping!

My eyeliner is my forever go-to: The Milani Infinite Liquid Liner in Black.

And obviously my brows are always a big deal for me — but lately I've been trying to venture away from filling them in so solid and move towards more of a brow mascara. The VT BT21 Airfit Tattoo Brow in 02 Hazelnut Latte is a happy medium! It has the brow mascara plus a small sponge applicator so I can lightly apply some product to fill in patchy parts of my brows. I ended up buying this in two colors — one lighter and one darker depending on how bold I want my brows to look.

L I P S
Don't even get me started on these lip products. They're all so good!

In the look above I'm wearing VT x BTS Super Tempting Lip Rouge in 02 Something. I also picked it up in 08 In The Mood. These are some of the softest, plushiest liquid lip colors I've ever used! They stay put but don't feel drying. I'm obsessed!

I topped my color with just a little of the VT x BTS Gloria Lip Color Balm in 01 Purity. It adds a nice clear shine to top it off! I like using this product as a regular lip balm on days I'm wearing no color — in fact, I love it so much I bought a backup! I also have it in 02 Attraction.

I also picked up the VT BT21 Lip Tint in Persimmon Orange. It's definitely more of a lip stain! Even though the color is titled as orange, it's a big more red. I love it!

S K I N C A R E
It was so tempting to get a bunch of the Cica products, but I unfortunately did not. Am I kicking myself for that? Maybe. But I did pick up the VT x BTS Born Natural Oil to Foam Cleanser and the VT x BTS Born Natural Wash Off Face Mask. I am already oil cleansing, and this oil cleanser is a fun foaming version. I use it with my konjac sponge during my daily routine. And the Face Mask is so exfoliating! I had a difficult time deciding which mask to get and I'm happy I picked this one.

And of course no skincare routine is complete without my BT21 Chimmy headband. Hah!


Worth the trip to the burbs? Absolutely! Thankfully it wasn't too busy — I went on opening day and there were quite a few dedicated ARMY out tolerating the cold and wet weather. One super nice cutie even offered to snap this picture of me! I love that everything surround BTS events are always so positive and supportive.
