Last week we had a lovely evening with dinner and drinks at City Hall Chicago. We've been maxing out our patio time and it was wonderful to be invited to City Hall to enjoy their beautiful space. Click through for more photos and outfit details for this casual date night look.
L-R: The White City, Royko's Revenge, No Blue Laws, and Alderman's Choice. I love a pretty cocktail! My absolutely favorite was Royko's Revenge: Mezcal, jalapeño, cilantro, pineapple, lime, salt, and Demerara syrup. It reminded me of one of my favorite cocktails that I had while in Tulum!
Oh, and we love sharing food. This popcorn shrimp and watermelon salad were perfect for the warm weather. I recently made small watermelon/feta/mint skewer's for a picnic and the combo quickly became one of our favorites. I was excited to see it on the menu with jalapeños!
Big ups: Sandwiches. I got the skirt steak and he got the crispy fish. They were both great but I loved the fish! And who doesn't love waffle fries?
See that orange envelope? City Hall does a special thing on Tuesdays that they call Parking Ticket Tuesdays. We all know parking tickets are plentiful, and if you bring your parking ticket into City Hall on Tuesdays, you'll get 20% off.
